The Department of Equality and the Information Office for Women (CIM) of Santiago developed a guide to inclusive language for the use in public administration. The document, written with the techniques of the WIC, gathers a number of proposals related to the use of language in the field of professional development.

The Study of visual communication Patricia Joga designed a set which joins some of the most used expressions and it will be handed out among all the technical and political staff of the local government of Santiago with the aim of having the most recommendable formulas of language from the point of view of gender equality.

Because non-sexist language is the one that doesn’t hide, doesn’t subordinate, doesn’t undervalue and doesn’t exclude.
